As of Thursday morning the 23-year-old singer and teen heartthrob hit the impressive milestone and was promptly congratulated by his pal, the official Twitter Music account.

Back in August Justin announced the cancellation of his Purpose WorldTour, explaining to fans he wants to focus on being "sustainable" in his career, but clearly his lack of stage presence hasn't stopped Bieber from gaining Twitter followers.
